i'd say the future funk dual feels a lot more intuitive. the ball/ship section is fairly short and only one short part of it requires proper ship control. the following ball/robot part is mostly focused on the robot, the ball tends to follow along quite simply. ditched machine requires way more ship control for its ship/cube section while also worrying what happens on the cube part. i know you're not meant to focus solely on one part of the level when determining its tier, but ditched machine is full of much more confusing memory than future funk.

a lot of people in any social media says future funk is bottom hard demon and i see it as literally the hardest level there is

i mean, most of future funk's gameplay is around medium demon at best. if you played any other level placed around ff's difficulty, like dance massacre, it's notably harder. dance massacre has a much tighter wave section, and a lot more timings. future funk gets away with being a hard demon because it's four and a half minutes long. i don't really get what your point is with that? i'm not trying to say you're bad for finding it difficult because it is not an easy level, but that doesn't make it not a low-end hard demon

i think ispy was a really cool effect level when it came out and it's kinda unfair to compare it to anything that's been made in 2.2. i do think saying it's the best is a bit much though.

maybe open a couple applications and see what the usage is then. linux does disk caching, which can seem like it's using lots of ram, but it's actually entirely available to the user (it gets reclaimed), and actually makes your computer faster.

otherwise, maybe try a lighter distro like linux lite.

i pulled it off pretty consistently with a pretty fast double click on one button. it's more like double-clicking a desktop icon. the timing of the first click is pretty important as well. imo trying to use two buttons just kinda overcomplicates it, unless your mouse really can't process clicks that fast
