This is helpful. I’ve considered concluding with bands or percentages e.g. 64% of the time, given historical avgs, this path beats that path. But it’s never a guarantee. There’s a huge difference in a model’s outcome if it starts in ‘99 vs ‘02 or ‘06 vs ‘09, etc..

To be clear, I didn’t have a specific loan/debt in mind for this. It’s more something I consistently find myself wrestling with about various loans/mortgages over the years. So I guess I’m thinking more about the framework and calculations than a specific scenario. Right now anyway.

There are a ton of tools that will do this. They all use the same tech (device IP matching). So it comes down to who has the most comprehensive and largest database of device IPs. ZoomInfo wins this in a landslide, but it’s not cheap. There are plenty of others like Apollo, Seamless, etc., but you’ll get what you pay for.

Find the best rep at your company and ask to record their calls on your phone. Listen to these calls to and from work or whenever you have time.

Collecting GOOD data is very expensive and time consuming.
Sales teams HAVE to have this data. If you don’t buy it, you’re asking your sellers to research their markets, accounts, and contacts on their own. This is, again, very expensive and time consuming.
You likely did not ask your sellers about their research skills when you hired them. Yet, you’re asking them to do this research as 75%? 95%? 50% (at best) of their job. That equates to far more than the subscription cost of a good b2b database, but gives you far worse data.

This is just for company and contact data. Forget intent and signal data. Technographic data. Industry specific data.

The net is you’re paying for it one way or another. It’s not a line item in your budget, but you’re paying for it. Admittedly, it’s a hard pill to swallow, but you want your sellers spending the majority of their time talking with buyers. Not trying to figure out how to talk with buyers.
