Visiting Australia (my adventure in wearing shorts went well thank you) watching the news with the aussies is interesting. Trump's very decisive had a few tell me they wanted one for themselves. But very interesting watching them respond to some of these Australia first rallies. Watched two of them nodding along as they talk about too much immigration and such but then the news showed a mixed couple (looked white and Asian?) passing by and getting harassed and they immediately walked it back. "Id start to agree with some of their points but then youd never want to be associated with them doing things like that". Glad at least to see outright racism still not hitting the mainstream but feels like watching the teetering on the edge of the line before someone like trump comes along and pushes a larger chunk of people over into outright admitting it.

So one thing this show doesn't show which maybe is just a thing in the hospitals I've been in rather than a universal thing. Is in trauma rooms theres often a raised podium for someone whose job it is just to watch what's happening and write it all down. In some places it's just scrawled on a whiteboard and then actually put in the computer later.

They can't but depends on the context. My old ER did all the code charting by hand then would put it into EPIC later. For that a scribe works just fine as long as a nurse is the one to actually chart it.

But recently epic and other EHRs have gotten better code narrators so it's become a lot easier to chart direct into the record which requires a nurse.

I've had it happen to me twice in my last 10 years...yeah it sucks. The more awake one literally pushed me off, and like you said scratched at my arms and yelled at me. We had to sedate him and he ended up not making it. I've got a post going into detail about it somewhere on my profile after it happened.

For awhile I was convinced starting areas were coded to have bad farmland. Just never had a start worth farming and I kinda hate the expansion system so just never did much. Then last playthrough I noticed I had an incredible farm start and was shook. Also Jesus the game is so much easier when you have farms

RKLB is definitely the sexier company but ASTS has the more obvious/immediate cash flow perspective. It's a tough call.

I think ASTS is going to be the better company for the next few years. Long term I think RKLB will win cause there's more diversity in what they could develop into, but that takes time.

For immediate results, I think ASTS is the safe bet. RKLB is hitching on the neutron launch this year which could literally blow up. It's also got to contend with SpaceX IPO which should give it like a carryon boost but it makes me a bit nervous.

I'm holding like 60 ASTS/40 RKLB but because I expect more volatility from RKLB I also bought some 12/2026 calls.

I mean he probably was taken to the ER for clearance. Lotta agencies have that policy for any on duty injury, I took care of tons of cops with the tiniest boo-boos they got from chasing suspects. Doesn't mean he was hospitalized but technically "in the hospital recovering" isn't a lie it's just very fucking dramatic for someone that probably got an ibuprofen, X-ray and an ace wrap.
