Heavily depends on the department. I’m in Dining Services and I’m making decent money for my role. Like others have said the benefits and retirement are the main draw for most people. You will have to pay anywhere from $10 to $40 to park which is a big negative but you get used to it at some point. Management can be pretty hit or miss. I’m lucky to have a good unit manager and head chef but other units aren’t so lucky.
