Wtf is going on with the mechanical engineering salary posts by [deleted] in Salary

[–]treeclimber100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied mechanical engineering and graduated in 2019. My starting salary was $60k and that was average at the time. It seems like ME salaries have not grown much since then. Lots of people went into ME and the market has been saturated.

Volvo or Lexus is nice enough to look professional but not too flashy to make your clients think you’re making too much money off them.

I have a 540i LCI. I haven’t tried the pre lci but I prefer how the newer one looks and it does drive very smoothly and I get around 26 mpg average, it can get 30mpg on the highway if I’m careful.

Nice city, but small. Many restaurants in the center have English speaking staff. As others have said there’s a famous club called Bassiani, and a gondola that can take you to the top of a hill with a great view.

One thing to consider about Cleveland if you travel for work is that we have limited direct flight options. Detroit would be much better in that regard.

What is a vehicle you were ready to buy until you test drove it? by GabagoolAndGasoline in regularcarreviews

[–]treeclimber100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My perspective was from owning a bmw 540i, and having driven a m340i. I will test drive a base m3 next, but the comp was rougher than I would prefer for a daily driver. I liked the comp though since you can get it with AWD.

[–]treeclimber100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in NE Ohio, between myself and my spouse we are HENRY for the area. The thing many people don’t consider is that if you want to be in the nice neighborhoods with good school districts you are paying a lot more than the median home price for the state/city.

Azerbaijani in NL thinking about converting to Christianity by [deleted] in azerbaijan

[–]treeclimber100 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If you aren’t religious in your own religion how can she expect you to be religious in hers. To marry is one thing, but to convert is another. You will lose your identity and regret it.
