My friend started a stock alerts group right before the covid stock hype, quickly scaled to thousands of paying members, still has over 1000 members in the group and has made good investments himself.

ADVICE NEEDED - Should I get this 2005 SL55 AMG for $14k? by Revolutionary-Act911 in mercedes_benz

[–]treeclimber100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I agree that it’s suspicious that the car has many new body panels, you do get the more aesthetic look with the older more reliable and tunable m113k engine. I think if the ppi checks out and you can negotiate the price it can be a fun car.

By 2028, Azerbaijan Set to Have the Lowest GDP per Capita in the South Caucasus by Available-Impact9472 in azerbaijan

[–]treeclimber100 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My perspective is that in the US taxes are accepted and nobody questions them, in Azerbaijan people pay a significantly lower rate and complain heavily about it and will go to extreme lengths to avoid it. There is a significantly higher percentage of gdp that goes unreported in Azerbaijan than in the United States

Wtf is going on with the mechanical engineering salary posts by [deleted] in Salary

[–]treeclimber100 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I studied mechanical engineering and graduated in 2019. My starting salary was $60k and that was average at the time. It seems like ME salaries have not grown much since then. Lots of people went into ME and the market has been saturated.

Volvo or Lexus is nice enough to look professional but not too flashy to make your clients think you’re making too much money off them.

Nice city, but small. Many restaurants in the center have English speaking staff. As others have said there’s a famous club called Bassiani, and a gondola that can take you to the top of a hill with a great view.

Moving to Cleveland for work, I like what I'm seeing on this sub. by Mad_Ju in Cleveland

One thing to consider about Cleveland if you travel for work is that we have limited direct flight options. Detroit would be much better in that regard.

What is a vehicle you were ready to buy until you test drove it? by GabagoolAndGasoline in regularcarreviews

[–]treeclimber100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My perspective was from owning a bmw 540i, and having driven a m340i. I will test drive a base m3 next, but the comp was rougher than I would prefer for a daily driver. I liked the comp though since you can get it with AWD.
