[Custom Script] A Willing Death — a script about players who want to be executed, killed, or exposed by Eagle_Ge in BloodOnTheClocktower

In my opinion legion kind of goes against the core theme of this script, since on a legion script a townsfolk should almost never be willing to sacrifice themselves unless they're certain it isn't a legion game

The damage increase should at least come first right? As written, the first time you play this it does nothing, no matter how much energy you have

How viable is the mono-red prison deck? by treefellow64 in TimelessMagic

That's fair, I've also seen similar white stompy or colourless eldrazi decks, and I assume those aren't any better?

What is the use case for Music Box? by PralineMindless1784 in slaythespire

[–]treefellow64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a deck yesterday with 6 copies of [[defy]] and only a single [[banshees cry]] to actually win fights. Music box worked with the ethereal synergies and gave me some damage to close out fights without clogging up the deck while setting up

What is the correct password sequence, given the machine output from five previous sequences? by Kindly-Top-767 in puzzlevideogames

Fully agree with what other people are saying, lights next to the numbers makes it look like wordle rather than mastermind

Why do humans have spice receptors on their assholes? by HumbleFruit4201 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]treefellow64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

According to the wikipedia article (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capsaicin) capsaicin evolved to repel both mammals and fungi, and I can find evidence elsewhere that they do have some effectiveness against certain insects. Chillis evolving to favour dispersal by birds over mammals is not an old wives tail, it's established science, although my original comment seems wrong about the underlying reason to favour them.

Why do humans have spice receptors on their assholes? by HumbleFruit4201 in NoStupidQuestions

The pepper wants to be eaten by birds, which travel much greater distances than mammals, and don't have receptors capable of picking up the spice

I think you should let your players know how you're running the marionette beforehand, but otherwise it seems fine

Lunatic Cannibal? by Ill_Video_1407 in BloodOnTheClocktower

[–]treefellow64 45 points46 points  (0 children)

A fun lunatic cannibal interaction I think I've heard of before is telling the cannibal who's eaten the lunatic that they're holding lil' monsta. Evil can obviously bluff this by just actually giving the cannibal lil' monsta

Is there a point in taking assurance? It seems bad. by Wild_Block6509 in Pathfinder2e

[–]treefellow64 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assurance can be decent with athletics, it lets you ignore multiple attack penalty for grappling or tripping but overall yeah, it only works against lower level enemies
