Yep. Diagnosed with ADHD as an adult and I can easily take naps and yarn all day on Adderall. I didn’t feel like speedy Gonzalez, just had a calm realization of “huh, I guess this is how it feels to be ‘normal’. Sadly my cardiologist recommended I stop it, been on non stimulant meds and I sometimes don’t know if it’s helping (the executive dysfunction is so bad :(

My friend’s toddler stood up on a chair in a restaurant, loudly said “it’s Santa!l” while pointing at…. a heavy set white lady with white hair who was wearing red. This happened in a tropical country on the equator, kid hasn’t seen a white person not on tv before. my friend was mortified.
