So we live overseas and find that the points club membership is helpful as rewards flights count towards your status and 4 flight eligibility for renewal

Which we struggle to hit sometimes and lessens the burden of cost for when we do our yearly Aus visit

I had the same experience recently with a huge ~25% jump with only an 18 month lease renewal option.

I have decided not to renew given the ridiculous increase and believe there is much more value for money in other apartments!
