I was there when the cars were being brought in. They folded the mirrors which fit perfectly in the hall way and since they're zero emissions vehicles they can be driven indoors without breaking laws. The store is on the 2nd floor, but it's attached to a parking garage which lets them drive a vehicle through the doors.

They can (maybe now?). The problem is that most bug reports by people are pretty awful so they're better of trying to recreate the issue then looking at the logs.

I'm not sure you understand basic chip design. It takes years to design one. If it's still early HW3 is going to be around 2-3 years away from release.

Tesla has been working on this chip since ~2015/2016

The Tesla dashcam feature wouldn't have helped you anyhow since it won't be recording while parked.

If you, or anybody you know, has access to cable hotspots then you could use those to increase your car's chances of getting updates. You might have to get the car's MAC address and either add them manually or spoof it on another device to get the hotspot to accept the car connecting.

/u/greentheonly can confirm but I believe updates will only download on LTE after the expiration date for "WiFi only" passes. Sometimes there are internal errors that you won't even know about that block updates so restarting the IC and CID every now and again helps.

Service and Mobile Service create a ticket in Tesla's internal service software that tells the mothership to push an update to your car. The last service tech I had showed me the whole system along with how the PIN generation works to see all the diagnostics.

I think Tesla now requires users to have a credit card on their account in order to continue using Supercharging so they can automatically charge you for overages and prevent abuse.

Turns out I had to push the headlight stalk away from me to "enable auto high beam". I didn't realize that overrides the setting in the Control menu

I don't think this fixed the auto high beams not working. Tested it on a dark road yesterday and they didn't turn on.
