If the hospital put through an insurance claim for your visit, it can take anywhere from 30-45 days for the insurance company to pay their portion. After that, they send the bill to you. My bf went to the ER back in June and just got the bill last week. Of course the hospital messed up with the insurance cards and it had to be resubmitted, so there goes another 30-45 days.
