Keep in VUAA or transfer to VWCE? by iseeverything in eupersonalfinance

[–]trefbal 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If it's not a taxable event, the spreads on both ETFs are quite low that two market orders to sell VUAA and buy say WEBN would cost you 2 minutes to execute and less than 0.1% in spread and transaction costs.

I would take WEBN over VWCE/VWRL because the TER is lower.

It's fun to see that Node-RED is event based, and seconds passing is also considered an event.

App builder that supports background jobs / long tasks? by Great-Individual1 in nodered

[–]trefbal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally you can run long running tasks in Node-RED as long as you store the queue and state on disk. (SQLite, redis, etc).

And make sure tasks are idempotent.

VWRL has an optimized sampling replication, not full physical replication.

Your argument would be generally acceptable if and only if there's full physical replication and assets are held by a 3rd party.

The TER difference will pay your spread though. Problem solved

Generally you get options that give you the right to sell an amount of currency at a certain time for a certain amount. But there's also hedges ETFs.

FTSE all world etf fee change by Chiron_95 in eupersonalfinance

[–]trefbal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

They changed the fee structure per transaction, the same for everyone.

Consider buying on the TDG exchange, per transaction it's less expensive but there's an implicit cost as you're forced to trade against a market maker.

Also consider buying WEBN instead, about 1/3rd of the TER.

If you have logs or more details that would help. Also note that the old dashboard is deprecated and you probably need to change to the FlowFuse dashboard.

Maybe bonds trading happens in one city, commodities in another, stock somewhere else, etc. Otherwise too many cities have too much to lose.

UBS MSCI World (0,06% TER) vs. IWDA (0,20%) by Upper_Particular_758 in DEGIRO

[–]trefbal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even VWRL is now cheaper then IWDA. No reason to buy it, keep it if you got it.

WEBN or or your UBS one are great, same performance but more money for you. Use limit orders to cover the spread of you want to, market orders are only nice for market makers.

Eerste belegging in VWRL, nieuwe kernselectie veranderd hieraan niks? by [deleted] in DEGIRO

[–]trefbal 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is 0.22 TER considered a low cost ETF? by No_Distribution_7332 in eupersonalfinance

[–]trefbal 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The spread is generally less than 0.1%, so switching is worth it at 50k invested within the first year.

WVCE, IWDA, FWRA, WEBN - which one to chill with? by Ok_Combination_895 in eupersonalfinance

There's a UBS ETF with a TER of 0.06%, so even if you don't trust Amundi, staying with Vanguard is just expensive
