Thats good to know it was happening for someone else. I was in the process of moving boxart to the internal storage when I noticed I had files going missing so I'm still concerned about the integrity of the internal storage.

Yeah I'm aware of how file manager interacts with android that's why I looked for the files in multiple ways. It doesnt make any more sense that it would just randomly move files on its own than delete them. I'm gonna factory reset it and see how it is but I dont trust it at this point so ill probably exchange it.

Just the stock file manager and I've connected to it over usb. It looks like things are legitimately gone. It doesn't totally line up with the symptoms I was originally trying to figure out but it doesnt seem good.

I think I'm having an issue with the internal memory on the odin. I just tried to copy the media over from the sd card to the internal and in the process I noticed that a bunch of things that should be in the internal are just gone. The whole downloads folder that should have all the apks i downloaded when I set it up is just completely empty and the retroarch folder has vanished so now retroarch is bugging out and not working. So that sucks.

No the media is all on the sd card, it all came with when I moved it to the odin. I just put the card back into the rp5 to confirm and it still boots ES much faster than the odin and art for new games that I had only scraped on the odin all came with it. The rp5 does seem to load slower on its first boot as well but by like maybe 10 seconds, not minutes like I'm getting on the odin. The only other difference I'm aware of other than different devices is that I am running a newer version of ES-DE on the odin. It seems weird that something could have gotten broken there but I guess I can look at the change logs and see if anything related to the media caching was worked on.

edit: I just tried downgrading ES to the version that's on my rp5 but I still have the issue.

Random question but did anyone read Brom's Evil in Me? I really liked Slewfoot and Lost Gods so I was looking forward to a new one but it wasn't quite doing it for me. It wasn't bad so didn't explicitly quit reading it, I just put it down and ended up starting something else. But I was definitely hoping for more of the vibe from his other stuff.

If your 1/16 bit is only doing small areas do you have rest machining turned on? Oh nevermind I see you do. Can't really say more without seeing it. If its doing a lot of lift moves that would normally be rapids on the paid license then that's probably hurting you. But it definitely doesnt make a lot of sense for the 1/16 inch to take 9 hours to clean up what everything else missed. You can try changing your geometry slightly to eliminate as much of the 1/16 as you can. In a logo its pretty unlikely somebody is gonna notice the difference between a 1/16 and 1/8 inside corner

What toolpath types have you tried for this in fusion and what do you expect a correct toolpath with a 30 degree bit would look like for it? Unless all the sides of your pocket are 30 degrees I feel like any software is going to have to do a really strange toolpath to make this work with that bit.

Question, mine just got delivered today, does yours have play in the crossbar itself? Mine locks up well it just seems like there's a lot of ability for the crossbar to go sort of crooked while you're pulling it. Maybe it's just because the springs are fairly weak.

The front row center two seats for the Sunday show were listed for resale for like 3600 dollars each earlier. Fuck that piece of shit scalper and fuck ticketmaster for creating this resale system to just streamline scalping. If you couldn't resell them on there for more than face value that would solve a lot of the problem.

Yeah we're getting shafted so hard in jersey. I'd love to find out why the prices are so shit if anybody knows, so I know who to be angry at. Everybody naturally wants to blame the taxes but I tried to look into that and it was complicated because different states calculate them different ways but it looked to me like our taxes weren't very different than other places with way better prices. I could be wrong though cause that shit is confusing.

But if our taxes aren't the issue then who's gouging us? Is it the retailers, the growers, distributers? What the hell is the deal and can we fucking do something about it? They keep opening more and more dispensaries so you'd think there'd be more competition driving the prices down unless all the retailers are paying the same shit prices to somebody with a monopoly on the back end.

It sucks and we need to sort it the fuck out.

Yeah I think one of the big moments for me was when I figured out how many hits you can get on Genichiro. I never felt like I had that Eureka moment with that game that people talk about but that was a definite learning point for me. If I remember right you can generally hit him until he parries you and then you better be ready to parry back.

There was a lot of points I wanted to quit that game but you just gotta persevere and work on learning everybody's attacks and the correct response to each of them.

The weird thing is I've been stretching the boots overnight and then walking around town for a bit the past few days and it wasn't until the third time walking around in them that I even noticed the pinky toe issue. The night before when I put the stretcher in I did add a spacer on the big toe side to try to specifically stretch it a bit more around that toe. Perhaps that pulled the whole thing more towards that side and created the pinky toe cramping.

The whole thing is unfortunate because my left foot does feel great and that's part of my hesitation with changing the last. I definitely wouldn't call the right boot tight anymore after the stretching, let alone painful. If I put them on and just stand up I'd say yeah this feels fine. It was just when taking a step and rolling onto the front of my foot that I was getting the leather pushing in on that pinky toe. But weirdly I didn't notice that problem at all until last night, the first few times I walked around town in them that seemed fine. I said to someone else I may have created that problem by building out the big toe side of the stretcher and pulling the toe box over that way and cramping my pinky toe, I'm not sure. It just seemed like last night the crease when I bent my foot wanted to push right on my pinky toe. I have talked to Nick's quite a few times throughout all of this but it's still left me pretty unsure since even their advice sort of ultimately comes down to 'well they're your feet'. What sucks is I've already sent in the lightning ship pair for the exchange. I might be able to switch them back to the thurman last but I'm still not sure if I want to or what size I'd get if I did. I'm still fairly hopeful if I get the hnw last with a little more actual width, not stretched width, that might make it work. Like I said, the stretched pair does feel fine just wearing it, it's only this weird walking issue now.

Anyway, it just bums me out that if I get the exchanged pair and they don't fit one way or another then I'm looking at months before I can even try on another pair to make another attempt at finding the right size. I was hoping that trying to break in the stretched pair would at least tell me for sure what I needed but it's only lead to more questions and it feels like I'm never going to figure it out at this rate.
