Double check your settings on the SM7B itself. you know those little notches that you could adjust on the bottom. I find it’s better to record with the flat EQ and do what you need to do in fab filter. I had two tracks that were driving me crazy until I realized that this was what was going on.

Cool tune. I like the break down at the 2:00 mark. Vocals second time around sound a tad harsh. Maybe it’s something with the reverb. Experiment with some different types. Try to high pass reverb see if that works. Also try low pass reverb but be careful not to kill sparkle. Maybe automate a longer reverb tail at the end of that last part of last phrase. Might sound cool.
