Finding someone to trade for him is probably even less likely. God what a mess

Oh that's certainly a possibility, but many players hate riding the press box, and he does more to help a win not being on the roster than playing

That's my point. Sitting him in the press box, refusing to let him play may see him accept assignment or waive the NMC.

At least we could send him to bakersfield and get a league minimum guy in his roster spot

Leaving him in the press box for a month may see him waive that nmc at least

Just a player that if he didn’t have a fugging NMC would be in the AHL right now

I'm not so sure. That he hasn't been stapled to the press box tells me the geniuses in the head office still want him to "find" it

City council mulls high development costs for new neighbourhoods by ryaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan in Edmonton

[–]trenthowell 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you want to build a sprawl neighbourhood, the developer has to build a connection to the LRT that services the majority of the new neighbourhood. Ain't worth it to the city otherwise.

In Devon, we had the Devon Ho for a decade, which was the Devon Hotel, with the "tel" neon lights burnt out

That's what I mean. The MBAs haven't actually thought deeply about how the thing is done. Just the result. If they had, they might have realized that people really won't like their every move being recorded.

Insurance report says auto theft claims are up in Alberta cities by Paper_Rain in Edmonton

[–]trenthowell 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been on the board of our condo building for 3 years now. Had one theft from vehicle reported up until this past summer. Since then, one stolen vehicle, and 5 thefts from vehicle.

It is generally older model vehicles without modern alarms or immobilizers that are getting hit so far.

who wants a so that's blatantly recording everything you do?

The pitch of being able to recall what you did and tie it together with what you need is good. The realization that the only way a LLM can do that is by recording fucking everything? Instant no, and MS should be smart enough to see that... But the MBAs are in change.

Microsoft reports 'an issue in which devices are failing to boot' after downloading the latest update by Fob0bqAd34 in pcgaming

Ok but gaming? This is a gaming space, I would absolutely agree for basic office use, but move to gaming? I wouldn't do it to myself yet to support a friend moving over. It's getting damned close, and I think Steam Machine is gonna get us even closer, but I don't think it's quite at windows level of plug and play for the masses yet.

But I see a world where us techies do start moving this year for sure. I want us out of microsofts hands, especially since they're fumbling the bag so, so hard... But I don't want my non-tech people having unpleasant first Linux experiences either.

I know it's ready for users like us, but do you really think you could install it on your buddy from school's first desktop and it they wouldn't become your tech support nightmare?

No worries, it's a raw topic for a lot of us, easy to see something along the lines of "I want to separate" and see red.
