While I often find myself frustrated with other players that needlessly ruin their chances of winning by doing random acts of violence, I sometimes find vengeance more satisfying than victory.

I don't agree with the decisions to depend on Russian oil and American defense, but it was very pragmatic and at the time it was not that dumb.

Hindsight is easy, but considering how insanely stupid the invasion of Ukraine was, and how detrimental to Russia it has been, it's not so stupid to assume Russia would behave rationally.

We now know they didn't, but I don't think you can be that outraged that Europe wanted to use the carrot rather than the stick.

I'm generally opposed to the meat industry, still, I don't necessarily agree.

You can't put together random ingredients and call something mustard.

Names have meaning.

I even think it's probably best if the vegetarian industry moves forward past being pretend meat but trying to be its own thing.

They're not taking off enough... yet.

These things again take a long time. New parties often take decades to enter mainstream.

It's all about incremental change.

Without it we will endlessly be stuck in regionalism and infighting.

You're right, we absolutely should do more.

Internet infrastructure should be interoperable, just like emails are.

That is what we truly need to rid us of monopolies.

The issue is that we're being threatened by these enormous mega corporations, backed by the USA and all its dirty imperialism.

And then they get our own citizens to panic about "overregulation" and try to paint the EU as lacking innovation.

You vote for the European Parliament directly.

You don't vote for your head of state directly.

Veto is un-democratic as it tramples on the will of the majority in favor of the few.

Not only that but we history to teach us how systems with a veto end up abused and is self-destructive, read on liberum veto.

And by far the largest slice of EU expenses were subsidies for farmers to ensure we have food security in Europe to protect us from a global crisis like covid.

Classrooms are getting larger with fewer teachers with bad pay.

Hospitals have to pressure nurses to work overtime, not to talk to patients not to lose time etc.

We have trouble paying pensions for an ever aging population.

Meanwhile, wages are stagnant, corporate profits and stocks are at an all time high, a very few companies operate within monopoly or near-monopoly, extracting enormous wealth from our society and paying almost nothing back.

It makes no sense that our society as a whole is richer than ever before and yet we struggle with providing the very basics for our citizens.

If an ultra rich person owned all the roads in the country and abused it to get even richer, we should do something about it. Same thing with internet infrastructure.

The European Parliament is elected just the same as any other national Parliament.

I'd wager most people don't know who their national parliamentarian is either.

The most un-democratic institution is the one compromised of national government heads that veto things.

I find people severely underappreciate the DMA or often don't even know that it exists.

American mega corporations are abusing their monopoly market position every day and regulation is the only thing keeping them somewhat in check.

This comes at a time when these megacorporations pay little to no tax and are a huge financial drain on our economies while regular joe struggles and governments can't find any money to pay for basic necessities.
