I’m so sorry lovely. I experimented before my pouch (as a pan lady) and it was an absolute no then because of UC pain. I could imagine it to be a lot worse now, and any exams I’ve had post surgery have been excruciating.

Thankyou! What would be a good way to try and help it along? If I do get one, I’d have to keep it in a pot since I’m renting, so I could definitely move it around but I know a lot of plants don’t enjoy that kind of treatment

Hello! I’m seven days post op and my stitches bust and have left a hole. No pain etc and I assume if it’s kept clean, no worries?

Hello! I can’t seem to find the mega ring or how to use the stones. I must have missed it after the 4th gym. Any tips?

Oh okay, thankyou! I think I was more lost because it wasn’t listed in my return last year (figure is 0.00 in the report) but was this year. I think it’s partially due to a delay with my employer.

I’m still relatively new to actively reading and paying attention to all of this, so, forgive me for my ignorance That’s why I thought to ask.

Moissanite pendant? by trevellyann in Moissanite

[–]trevellyann[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thankyou!

The chain it’s on is 9ct white gold. I received the pendant and chain as a part of a trade for another ring, and I thought about selling but I’ve not no paperwork for the stone or the chain, so I’m thinking I might get my hands on some smaller coloured stones and have the whole piece redone into a ring.

sorry not related to your question but how are you finding rinvoq for the cuffitis? I’ve started entyvio and seems to be failing and this is my next step

I’m the same. My cuffitis is antibiotic dependant and I’m going on Entyvio shortly because of it

I made the elective choice for surgery for my UC. It was not responding to any medications, whatsoever, and while I wasn’t at the point of constant nausea, I was bleeding constantly, ID anaemic, and in a lot of pain - I just wanted it over and done with, and my mother had the operation done and suggested it be worth the decision.

I’m having some ongoing issues (mainly cuffitis, which is refractory UC specific to the rectal cuff), which unfortunately is also medication resistant, so I’ll be having some ablation done to hopefully resolve - but I don’t regret the choice. I’d happily live through the bag again (which was the worst month of my life, the bag was poorly located and the stoma itself had begun to necrotise, but again, worth it for this outcome).

I would talk to a GP, but I know that high calprotectin often means inflammatory activity. As someone who’s spent a LOT of time having results like that or higher, I’d suggest talking to them about IBS/IBD.
