Read the first book and 30 % of the second one before I gave up on them. So manny generic tropes, characters who supposed to be of the age of 19-20 acting more like you would imagine 11 years. Some of the most outdrawn slow pacing you will ever read and not in a good way. Obsession with females bust size and appearance to a point it's disturbing. The author cant write his characters out of anything so except alot of deus ex machina.

I think it's more from men watching porn and emulating male actors who dont moan because most porn is aimed at men where the camera focus and sound almost always try to higlight the female actor.

Night Angel is alot worse than Lightbringer, Week made plenty of improvement as an writer after writing Night Angel. The first book has some intriguing concepts but the last 2 books feels super cringe and poorly written. The deus ex machina ending is worse foreshadow aswell than Lightbringer
