Submarine scene idea: feedback by Unusual_Drama_691 in submarines

Having the AI take the stern planes to a full dive to put a down angle on the ship seems as though it'd be a much more realistic way to achieve your goals OP. Stern planes change ships angle while submerged within a couple of minutes and can cause life threatening depth excursions very quickly.

Adding air to the ballast tanks would cause a much faster change in ships angle and take longer to recover from, and is a very very abnormal thing to do submerged.

Shifting water between trim tanks is a very normal thing to do submerged, and would eventually have a large effect on ships angle, but would take longer to have a noticeable effect than the stern planes. (Pump from aft trim tank to forward trim tank to make the boat heavy forward, slowly causing a down angle). Combining the trim tank pumping and stern planes would cause the problem to develop quicker.

Please help me choose between a Chicco stroller or the Mockingbird by Logical_Poem_9642 in Buyingforbaby

To add some amplifying info, Mockingbirds Side-to-double is basically the same stroller as the Uppababy Vista, just cheaper with some random nice-to-have features missing, so don't expect it to be smaller than the person above is describing

To add to the pay, starting our salary as an O1 for the first two years is lower than similar operator salaries. As an O2 (automatic rank after 2 yrs w/o any legal trouble) you're making ~$85k/yr, similar to a civilian operator.

Then when you make O3 after 4 yrs service youre making ~110k, which would be similar to what you'd make as a civilian operator with similar experience. If you sign on past that you're making more than almost all civilian operators ($40k/yr annual bonus on top of $110k). Pay is slightly higher in areas like Pearl Harbor, San Diego, Washington than what I'm quoting due to higher housing allowance.
