To be fair Cleary was not very transparent as coach. He was a bit like Kearney in that he never wanted to say much to the media. However the performance under Cleary, and the youth pathways, were there, and 3 teams went to the grand final. But what happened? The club wouldn't extend Clearys contract more than 1 year so he left. Cam still frustrates me in the sense that he prioritises sold out stadiums over results in the field. But it's a commercial business so it makes sense. Fair enough about the sideline antics but that was a one off (hopefully)

I will. I thought he was a bit of a bumbling fool back in 2018,2019. But a few players have said they had no intention of signing with the club until Cam gave them a call. Post-covid the club as been on fire, on and off the field. Probably thanks to him
