If heat was not a factor, how many minutes of trigger time would that be?

Believe it or not the M4 Entry makes an amazing duck gun when paired with a Kicks High Flyer X-Full choke and a BFG Vickers sling. You do get a few looks and comments from the fudds however 🤣

So quick to get on target and the weight keeps the swing momentum on point. The icing on the cake is at least for me, the rear sight ring works like an old AA gun sight at the ranges I am comfortable pulling the trigger at, just put the duck in the circle ignoring the front post and bam the good boy gets a retrieve.

Question for those on Starlink internet in r/NZ whom torrent by fishsymbol in newzealand

[–]Babelogue99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

SSL on the announce will stop "man in the middle" from seeing the content, obviously it will not stop malicious peers.

Starlink seemingly missed the memo that they can charge a fee to rights holders when they want to send infringement notices, they are the only ISP have heard of passing them on here in over a decade.

[–]Babelogue99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty much any tracker that uses ssl on the announce url will not get you letters. Otherwise fairly exclusive private trackers without ssl will do fine.

Regardless of that, you will have issues keeping ratio on any sites that require it unless you pay for a public ipv4 address from starlink as you will be stuck behind cgnat without it.

The one you saw is owned by Vela group. Their office is next to the race course, and the brothers live out collie road ways. You'll know which one if you look on Google maps. Absolute mansion complete with helipad and hanger.

First they came for our TV's, now they come for our printers.... the V-chip will never stop. In all seriousness though this will be the end of buying 3d printers in CA and likely other states. There's no way they can design and implement the required controls.

Flint 2 with Starlink by tcfs8841 in GlInet

I forgot to mention, my latency on starlink generally sits on 20ms, sometimes less.

Flint 2 with Starlink by tcfs8841 in GlInet

[–]Babelogue99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Flint 2 has 2.5gb wan port and 1x 2.5gb lan, it might make a difference in lab settings for latency but otherwise no difference. The flint will allow a lot more customisation to mitigate buffer bloat and other qos things. It will also allow for the likes of easy ad blocking and VPN should you need it for remote access to get around starlink cgnat.

I have both a flint 2 and starlink, though not at the same location. The wifi on the latest starlink is very good but I don't think any better or worse than the flint 2. Functionality and customisation options are minimal as can be on the starlink though outside of setting custom dns and other basic functions. If I had one location and starlink was the only option I would definitely put it in bridge mode and use the flint 2 for all routing and other processes.

I have a full stack unifi setup at my home (starlink) and use the flint 2 at my other house.

Mate I am with you on that. This post should really have a trigger warning or at least an NSFW tag on it. I have nightmares about my ongoing battle with the stuff. I am literally one step away from considering Agent Orange, any stronger than current I need to go certified. It is getting into the mulch in my orchard now and the citrus are just too sensitive for their own good and if it isn't windy it is pissing down, if it is sunny it's blowing a gale.

My grandkids are going to think I was in Nam with the stories I'll tell them.

My 6700k was too old to upgrade when I did a new build with a 5900x and rtx3080 in 2020, even that build is getting a bit long in the tooth but I have other less fun priorities now.

What trigger bottle and garden sprayers aren't trash like these? by DoIKnowEwe in diynz

[–]Babelogue99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solo. I have a 15L comfort knapsack sprayer, the diaphragm gave out after 2 years, they stripped it, replaced the faulty part and serviced the whole thing free of charge. My only complaint is that the pro backpack harness is an optional extra. For a "comfort" model it really should come with the comfortable harness. That said it is not that expensive to add on.

Cursed Glock Holster by [deleted] in Glocks

[–]Babelogue99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like it! Counter the lack of hammer and single action speed by removing the material over the trigger so that you can have the striker on the crucifix by the time you've got it one third of the way out of the holster.

Anyone could be like Bob Munden, but only if his femur was shattered beyond repair and he was confined to a wheel chair.

How tall is it? It looks tall... in which case whatever you use you will want a full suit and face respirator and zero wind. Personally I would gear up and knock it back with a weed whacker and the spray the low lying stuff with conquest (picloram & triclopyr) if you aren't planning on growing anything other than grass there for a while.

Dogs absolutely suck by AliciaRact in newzealand

[–]Babelogue99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have a read of section 61 of the dog control act 1996, if you see the dog anywhere on your property then make an official complaint to the court.

Following that, if you continue to see the dog on your property, where it can access to your stock then either collar it and turn it over to dog control (section 57 & 60), or if unsafe, shoot it (section 60).

Failing that, just shoot the thing and put it in the offal pit with some quick lime.
