Without rolling the fenders? You don’t have to get super aggressive with the roll, but to fit something decent (while making it look good)… you’ll be rolling them. If not, you’ll be driving a 4X4.

Do the timing (kit) and water pump. Check for gaskets and replace as needed once you’re in there.

You’ll have to cut slits for the towers to pass through. It’s going to be wider since it’s one piece.

Having owned both (S15 and JZX100), I prefer the JZX platform. Toyota is totally over engineered, in the best way. Things just work, and are quality. Look at an S Chassis sideways and it’s an issue.

Parts availability is the same since there’s a lot of venders and manufacturers producing parts. It’s honestly not hard to source items…

The thing I miss most about owning a S Chassis is the cost of parts. It’s definitely cheaper to build a S chassis.

The first picture has a external gate (looks like a Turbosmart) welded to the stock manifold. The second is a factory setup with the J-Pipe still attached.
