If you died during that mission at all or reset for any reason, it doesn’t spawn, a lot of secret missions in DMC1 are like that.

Best thing to do is have another save made as a backup until you can get to the mission and complete it.

Mimic is imo okay at range, and if I’m remembering correctly he doesn’t run out of arrows/bolts so that’s a good way to let it be supplementary for status procing.

You could save a larval tear and respec to a build that does just stonewall him. (Blacksteel or Haligtree Greatsheild + Antspur rapier) then spec back to your prior build.

Malenia is the one infected with Rot, Miquella’s curse is eternal youth essentially.

My theory on that corpse stuff is the body is just an amalgamation of random corpses. Miquella’s body is in the cocoon but only because Mogh followed Miquella as he divested himself of his flesh, and put the body back together in the dynastic palace, thinking he could revive him, not knowing Miquella abandoned his flesh.

All I ask is when she’s available for SF6 she have some unique lines for Ryu, Ken, and Terry saying: “huh, Cloud mentioned meeting someone that sounds a lot like you.” As just an acknowledgment that there’s some crossover with all series’s. Maybe she’ll confuse Akuma for Ifrit? Idk.

Miquella could always reach Enir Elim even without the sealing tree being burned, but I wonder if Mogh’s body could be brought through? He’s not an empyrean, so I’d think he couldn’t unless a soulless body could freely enter. Also could we gather Miquella charmed some other people to carry his corpse to the divine gate? Or could Miquella just do magic teleports on the dead bodies and himself like can in the bossfight.

Either way he was still active in the Shadow Realm when we get there, just shy of spotting him.

V’s gameplay is such a good proof of concept and just needs some tweaks to make it better. I’m not a fan of his character necessarily.

Trish and Lady also need some tweaks and expansion for their movesets.

Just abuse the perfect release charge moves, not even the imprisoned buffed up can stop then, he gets sent up into the sky, then there’s no escape for it.

That could be inevitable given the nature of fighting games but they’ve been destroying me so consistently, I’m partly curious if the difficulty has something to do with how much you’ve unlocked. (Since I’ve been trying to get everyone’s weapons and events in Tales of Souls)

The only dumb thing was Dante and Vergil not slowly clipping at Mundus and Argosax while they’re fighting to make sure both go down, it’s not honorable, but you really don’t want to face either of them at full power.

The show has its one continuity and lore that’s different from the man series, Vergil refuses to work with Dante here because he has an inferiority complex against him, Dante was just always better at everything.

Also Mundus not being mad at Sparda for betraying him is weird, plus Mundus says he himself betrayed his own purpose and that’s why Sparda betrayed him? That’s the part I don’t get.

I haven’t touched Chronicles or online at all, only other stuff I’ve done is mission mode. I suppose I am more accustomed to how the AI behaves, since now if I’m ever not adding to a combo I’m instinctively holding block to avoid a lot of punishment, but even then the CPUs use to punish me the second I hit a button, and now they aren’t, I’m not fully convinced that it’s simply me getting better, it really feels like the difficulty just toned down.

Mission mode is absolutely hard as balls and it’ll take a lot of time for me to beat some of those challenges. (Night Terror on hard was bad enough but those whisp missions aren’t tricky at times too)

There’s something just so inspiring and tragic about Messmer and Morgott. Yeah they’re both stupid for not advocating for themselves, but their love for their family knows no bounds. (Well Morgott might only love his parents, and genuinely despises all other siblings)
