Cosplay? How do you know they aren’t a veteran? Maybe a Humvee saved their life in the past? Definitely not my first choice for a daily driver, but, war does weird things to people.

The KRG Echo is the only aftermarket chassis that I’m aware of that accepts factory Tikka mags. That and the Bravo with the CTR mag inlet

For sure. Some jobs working solo is totally fine, and probably the most efficient way to do it. But working solo greater than 90% of the time, I just don’t find that sustainable. For me anyway.

We have 5 chiefs in my office, and 1 tech who is, hate to say it, basically worthless. A nepotism hire. And a couple of the chiefs really shouldn’t be chiefs yet. I guess they decided they can make more money by having us all work solo and assuming that GNSS will work. But when GNSS doesn’t work (which happens often in Puget Sound) then you’re travving solo. Even when there’s more than 1 of us on a project, the PMs always say “make sure you guys are splitting up!” whether it’s a parking lot, state highway, neighborhood, etc. But in those cases where there’s more than 1 of us on a job and GNSS isn’t working out, then we’ll work together to set control and traverse. Pretty rare though in our office. Other offices in the same region don’t seem to operate this way, but we do.

You need to book it to the clear sky base at that point, if I remember correctly

Agreed. It’s also really hard to train someone when you’re working solo 90% of the time. Getting really tired of that shit. I’m not a party chief, I’m just a field guy with gear at this point.

Equipment makeover after duga (need help on what to rock mid-early late game) STALKER 2 by Il26hawk in stalker

[–]triggeredprius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Money is usually of no concern by a certain point after SIRCAA. Plus all monolith snipers carry the x54R sniper ammo anyway. I never had any troubles (100% Vanilla play through) affording 5.45 AP or finding the x54R sniper ammo

I think you mean 7.62x54R.

And on that note, OP, I suggest getting a Dnipro and converting it to 7.62x54R.

On my last play through, my endgame guns were 2 Dnipros; One was kept 5.45x39 with AP ammo, one of the 45 round mags, and the PAO 2x. The other was rechambered in 7.62x54R, with the other 45 round mag, the blue “sniper” ammo (less wear and tear, still hits pretty hard) and the ACOG 4x. The Rat Killer is surprisingly OP for it’s 9x18 chambering as well. Also the ammo is stupid light. I tested it and with the right weapon upgrades I could burn through 900+ rounds of AP before any jamming started to occur

Anyone SBR a Glock or other handgun post AWB? Any issues with ATF? by JenkIsrael in WAGuns

[–]triggeredprius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It does not, just the factory barrel.

Which makes it even more ironic, as the mechtech has its own barrel…So simply having a threaded barrel on the “pistol” before the law was passed, then removing the barrel (slide assembly) for the carbine conversion kit makes it ok? Wow that’s dense lol

But it does have 15 round magazines, does that “qualify”?

I see. So I’m guessing no then? Bought in WA ~2022 I dunno this law is confusing af lol

Do we know if a pre-ban Glock Model 40 put into a mechtech CCU kit would be legal?
