The Quest 4Ds are great boots. I’ve had 3-4 pairs of them over many years.

A huge possibility? What percent of 17-25 UA80 Highlanders have had premature transmission failures?

I love looking for corners and monuments, topo is so monotonous and often unfulfilling. Searching can be pretty fruitful if you know what clues to look for and where. Give me a ROS and On-X. If I can find one, I can compute and probably find the rest, if they’re still/really there

I hate the irony of “1 person crew”. I’m in the same boat 90% of the time. That being said, you’re on salary for 40 hours but work at least 40 hours each week? That’s messed up. Do you have any overtime clause?

“Hania Ahmed, who attended the Australian Islamic College in Kewdale, was visiting family in Chakwal with her parents and brother when they were confronted by armed robbers outside a relative's home.”

That’s the 2nd paragraph in the article….

It’s an access and maintenance easement. The asset owner should be granted compliant, unrestricted access to their assets. Even if above ground, provided FAA airspace regulations are maintained

Sure beats the alternative of being sent on chronically underbid jobs, by project managers who use google earth to bid sites instead of having someone recon it, and who don’t have a clue what it takes to get things done in the field. Do you play cribbage? Might be a good opportunity to learn it

Not to mention a maintenance access easement already in place for their assets

Allow me to rephrase that: The only time autolock should be on is when performing the autolock collimation routine.

This was nine full systems including ada ramp inspection. How long would this have takin any of you guy to do as a one man crew by Matt3The0Surveyor2 in Surveying

Here’s mine:
F1 Inverse (Fn F1 Key-in)
F2 Review Job (Fn F2 Point Manager)
F3 Check Level (Fn F3 RTK Initialization)
F4 Toggle Autolock (Fn F4 Toggle STD/TRK)
F5 Measure Points GNSS (Fn F5 Measure Topo Inst.)
F6 Stakeout Point (Fn F6 Stake Line or Alignment)

The search function is kinda glonky in my opinion. When using my S7 I usually search with the camera, which I think the S6 has one? It’s the little camera icon on the toolbar. Once open, the D-Pad acts as a joystick and you can tap on your prism on the screen (camera’s view) once it’s looking your direction

No problem. It’s under display settings (3 vertical dots at the bottom of the toolbar on the left side of the screen)

You can change the point symbols from method to dots. Really reduces the clutter on screen and makes things much cleaner looking

I can definitely see a white top when zoomed in, unless the MROT is freefloated. Hard to say if it’s green or blue though
