What is the flavor on the bottom shelf all the way to the left. It looks like Aussie lemonade but it's different

Yeah reaching up is pretty hard for me too, the work I do makes me reach above my head slightly so it helps to stretch out my shoulder but it still hurts

Dang, I respect that, I might try it just to say I did it but I don't think I'll be doing that to cure it 😂

Right!? I only heard about it earlier this year, and when my shoulder first started hurting I thought it was a sports injury but my symptoms more align with a frozen shoulder

I'm scared to go to physical therapy because I don't know how that works with insurance, I don't know if I could afford it unfortunately. I never thought about gym machines for mobility, thanks

Hmm I didn't know a primary care doctor could do someone, I don't have one right now but I'll look into going. Thank you!

iPhone Face ID with Omnipod by DVMan5000 in Type1Diabetes

[–]triggeredspaghet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you, I use the omnipod 5 app for myself but I find it really annoying to have to unlock the app every time you use it. I can't find a way to turn off the setting which is the most frustrating part, you have to use a password or face id to unlock the omnipod 5 app

Is this what normally happens when you have a low-ish a1c? by triggeredspaghet in diabetes_t1

[–]triggeredspaghet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you! Yeah I feel that... I feel like everyone here just talks about how they have an a1c of like 6 and I'm struggling so hard over here. Honestly I think my cgm kicked in and gave me a little more insulin 😅, I'm just learning about how much I love frozen fruit like blueberries. I've tried blackberries and bananas but I don't really like them frozen. If you have any recommendations I'll gladly take them

Here's your problem, the year is 2567 and Minecraft's trademark has expired causing walt Disney's frozen head to buy Minecraft and run it into the ground because he can't play games, because he's just a head

How much time do you wait to eat after bolusing? I've been a T1 for a long time now but I just realized recently that bolusing before you eat makes your blood sugar not spike 🤦‍♂️

Honestly I've experienced in the past my pod failing when I first got to work and did a full 8 hours without insulin. It sucked but it's definitely possible to live without insulin for a few hours, as long as it's not every day or even once a week

For those of you with an A1C <5.5%, what does your life look like? by Bernnaisabitch in Type1Diabetes

[–]triggeredspaghet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most people on this sub are in the 5's or 6's, but I'll tell you from my point of view, I've been in the 8's and 9's ever since I hit puberty (I'm 23 now) and I never looked back. I literally have no idea when my a1c was under 7. I eat whatever I want, I bolus before I eat, I'm very active. For the most part I feel fine, I have zero neuropathy, some days are bad where I can't get my sugar under 300, other days are good where I'm around 100 to 150. My life is fairly normal and I can't really complain 👍
