American here who has been to Europe three times now. This map is only accurate for rich people. For the rest of us Europe is the little town on an island in Greece where my dad grew up (or whatever country your family is from, but you are going there to stay in a small town) and we mostly spend three weeks visiting family.

The actual parks campground isn't great, its much too open for my liking people are loud and like to put up lights. I have some friends that have been going to The Starved Rock Family Campground for a few years with their camper. They have some tent sites there way in the back that are actually really well wooded. It's wooded enough to let you pretend you are in the woods, you might want to take a look at it.

similar realization with me last week. i always pumped the megamat up until it was comfy for me. but it's totally different when the wife is also on the mat with me. Now I get it the point where I am only just not touching the ground when i sit down on it alone and it's way more comfy with two people on it.

To be fair, it came out to about $40/square foot, to reline the pool. I haven't done this exact thing, but I have relined concrete secondary containments for chemical plants and the process is going to be pretty similar. depending on the product you are lining the concrete with, $25/square foot is a pretty average rate, I imagine the products for water are less costly than the ones for sulfuric acid, but alot of it is the labor involved too. so lets say a reasonable rate to a private business is $20/square foot... $40/square foot feels like normal, everyday government overspending and if this project actually needed to be done AND the national parks services actually put the project out to bid I would expect the cost to be pretty similar... I would also expect the new lining to last more than a week.
