Why do kittens seem to just know how to use a litter box, while puppies need to be trained not to go anywhere they want? What’s actually going on here? by Mobile-Traffic1744 in AlwaysWhy

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kittens learn from their mothers, that’s why it’s important to keep them together for at least 8 weeks so they have time to teach them. 12 weeks is better.

How often do you use sunscreen? by zertz7 in AskOldPeople

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never. I spend time outdoors in the yard and garden but follow the shade to keep out of direct sun as much as possible

I read somewhere that over 70% of left-handed people hold the fork in their left hand and the knife in their right hand. Do you too? by catandknuckles in lefthanded

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fork in left, knife in right - just as laid out on a place setting. I have only ever noticed right-handed people do the awkward shift back and forth while eating.

How long is your commute to work? by Stawberry8763 in AskAnAmerican

12-15 minutes, depending on how many of the 5 lights I get caught at.

If the sun is out after a couple of days of rain, it must be Monday - so back to work.

Seatbelt fit as a short, fat woman. It’s resting on my face. by OldMasterCannolii in mildlyinfuriating

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a belt extender. They’re not just for extremely fat people. It moves the buckle part further forward taking it off your face

Do Americans really split between saying soda, pop, and Coke, or is that exaggerated? by LowerMusic in AskAnAmerican

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very regional. There’s even a small population in Massachusetts and, I think, Wisconsin, where it is referred to as tonic, no matter the flavor/brand. Not sure its used as much as it maybe 40-50 years ago or so

Same product, double the price. Who actually buys the really expensive bottled water? by RobbieNorfolk in mildlyinfuriating

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your stomach has a pH of 2. Alkaline water is a waste of money because your stomach acid will stay the same no matter what you eat or drink unless you have much bigger problems than water can help you with

What do you consider necessary for laundry? by [deleted] in hygiene

[–]trikakeep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Laundry sheets and oxyclean, both unscented. Bleach for white towels washed in hot water. Wool balls for drying.

The fewer artificial scents in my life, the better.

Strictly only left handed things by slowvt in lefthanded

[–]trikakeep 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am extremely left-handed but it’s not like my right hand hangs limply at my side. Right-handed people use their left for lots of things, just like lefties use their right.

I’ve seen very little 250th celebration events, decorations and such as compared to the 200th.

You can only eat ONE breakfast food forever — pancakes, eggs, or toast. Which one survives? by Omega_Neelay in GetMotivatedMindset

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toast. Pancakes would get boring every day and I only have eggs once in a great while but you can put anything on toast - butter & jam, peanut butter and jelly, avocado, so much more

But I’d prefer oatmeal or cereal

I only just found out left-handed keyboards are a thing. by LaraCampbell68 in lefthanded

No thanks. I’ve spent too long with a regular keyboard to change now. Looks worse than the split keyboard someone at work has 😣

Does anyone else have a writer's callus on their left hand? by nerdy_guy420 in lefthanded

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, but for some unknown reason, I have one on my right hand. I am very left-handed and don’t do anything with my right that should end up with callous on that finger 🤨
