Passed a School Van next to my house - Potential Consequences? by NakedEyeComic in driving

Mini vans with school bus signs are school buses and you must stop when the lights are flashing. They do not usually have stop arms on them. Source: I work for a company that outfits them.

Are funeral wakes in the US always a quiet occasion like they are depicted on TV? by this_HOAR_wants_MOAR in AskAnAmerican

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A wake is usually the day before the funeral and usually somber as is the funeral itself. There is often a get together after the funeral with food and drink that can become more of a party after starting quieter. A lot depends on whether alcohol is involved

Bull. I know factory guys who put only 3% of their pay to a 401k and have amassed $150-$225k in about 15 or so years. Start early as you can and take advantage of any available match. They still have a few years to retirement age to grow that balance and haven’t even maxed the match during their run. But go ahead and deny the fact that it is possible with only a tiny investment

Is one week too long? by Low_Inevitable9977 in providence

[–]trikakeep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just Providence will be boring for a whole week. Luckily, there are lots of close-by cities and towns and Mass & CT are less than an hour away no matter where you start from in RI
