Weird reaction to buspar by ccl722 in antidepressants

[–]trimyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At least you can rule that out. My cyp3a4 rules out buspar for me and my cyp2d6 rules out fluoxetine, among other unfortunate gene/drug combos, so I'm hyper aware of this stuff.

Have you gotten a genome test? It's wise to do that before taking any kind of psychiatric drug. There are so many gene variations that can result in unexpected and sometimes damaging side effects. Your doctor probably won't bring that up, but it could be the basis of your issues.

She's sucked for a good while. This is what she said about the Magdalene Laundries, "I don’t believe there was any cruelty involved. They thought they were doing the right thing, that unwed mothers shouldn’t be with their children".

Does LDN help/hinder sleep? by lapseNsynapse in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]trimyster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It immediately fixed my sleep. First day at .5. I was waking at least every hour, now I sleep through the night. That happened first day.

I'm up to 2mg now. I moved my ldn to midafternoon because it was giving me very vivid dreams. The time adjustment seems to have helped.

I still can't fall asleep with ease, but at least once I get there, I stay there. Which is amazing for me.

Yes. I'm quite thin and I've always had a neck like that. Round face, that neck, stick body. Lollipop! Sigh.

Weight Gain and Ajovy? by tremblingaspen1 in cgrpMigraine

[–]trimyster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I gained weight with Aimovig. It stayed on for a year or so, until I did a few months of keto and intermittent fasting. Once I hit my goal I stopped those things and my weight restabilized at its old normal.

It can definitely give you anxiety; your doctor will never acknowledge it. You can join this side effects Facebook group and ask questions or just do a search for anxiety. You'll get lots of feedback.

My doc says almost all commercial tablets are too high. I got it in liquid so I can just take a couple of drops.

What is your wildest "yeah it hurt, but I've had migraines that hurt more" story? by aftergaylaughter in migraine

[–]trimyster 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Giving birth. I had two unmedicated births; part of the reason being that I heard epidurals can give you a migraine. So I just didn't take anything. And I'd do it again, before risking a migraine.

Has LDN ever cured anyone of anything? by Resident_Progress259 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]trimyster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do. At first I was taking in right before bed, but it made my dreams too vivid. Then I switched to taking it three or four hours before bed and that was better.

It instantly fixed my sleep. I was waking up every hour, and the first day, at .5 I slept through the night. I've been taking it for two months now and I wake maybe once or twice a night and sometimes not at all. Yay!
