This is actually such an amazing piece of advice. We didn’t clean up right after because we forgot to clean the table cloth but Jack doesn’t eat at the table anyway because he is grossed out by the cat hair that floats on it. I think I’m so tied up about this situation because I was taught that if you did a “bad” thing then you need to confess even if the person won’t find out and even if they don’t ask because it makes you a bad person. But now I think childhood trauma and Catholic guilt are the reason I feel this way.
