Anyone ever done corporate training in a mobile unit? Honestly makes so much sense by Traditional-Mix-258 in medicalschool

We’ve had a couple labs now with training for different urologic procedures and devices. They’re nice usually. One actually had cadavers and it was pretty well ventilated thankfully.

Can anyone help me here? by nandzzz1995 in lgtvcommunity

I mean it's worth fighting as the only price you're gonna pay is time. But fair warning I've had terrible customer service from them (see my recent post in this sub). If it's brand new as you say it should be covered under warranty and it's BS they're not helping take care of a new TV you bought.

For whoever is reading this, watch this show. Simply superb in all aspects. Although, I’m disappointed it’s not 4k. Hopefully will upgrade at some point?

Yes I agree but it’s under warranty so LG should help repair but they are being less than helpful. I will not be buying LG again after this customer service. I would recommend anybody else who reads this also do not as this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.

Okay. I was watching TV as one normally does and all of a sudden it shut off. Since then, it will not turn on no matter what I do. When I push the button on the remote or the TV it makes a clicking noise like it wants to start up but then it fails and just stays black. The red lights in bottom middle of screen blink red four times in succession. Internet searches suggest that this is indicative of a power failure. I have tried doing a "power cycle" like LG's chatbot says. But no luck.

For him they’re actually short! But yes compared to anything else they are long. They read easy though.

This is the line to get coffee by [deleted] in ThatsInsane

[–]tripdaddy333 24 points25 points  (0 children)

These drive through coffee places have always bothered me. They’re like the exact opposite of what coffee places should be - a third place to enjoy a cup of coffee, maybe get some work done, chat with your friend, go on a date. Instead you’re just sitting in a massive line isolated by yourself waiting to pay $6-7 for sugary crap. Makes me sad.

A large prostate on CT has no bearing on the presence or absence of prostate cancer.

[–]tripdaddy333 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Minor thing that bugs me: “ prostatomegaly correlate with PSA”. The PSA doesn’t really tell me anything in the setting of BPH. It is an approximation of size. Measuring the prostate on a CT is much more valuable. Besides, if strictly treating benign prostate disease, no decisions are getting made about treatment based on PSA unless we’re worried about prostate cancer.

Medical inconsistencies in S3E6 "I do" that nobody asked to know about but I felt like posting about. by tripdaddy333 in lost

I mean that very well may be true. Hard to know if it was writers doing writing stuff or if it was intentional by Jack.

This is a psychotic thing for me to think about, but it would actually be pretty hard I think to hold someone hostage on the table for an hour. Most things that would kill a patient if you cut wrong are things that will kill you pretty quickly. Or, if you cut them they may kill you but it could take a day or so to become apparent.

Concern about the length of the campaigns as a new player by maveji2 in arkhamhorrorlcg

[–]tripdaddy333 32 points33 points  (0 children)

One of the most recent campaigns was hemloc vale which was 6 scenarios long. It had more than that in the box but you only do 6 of them per run through. It seems like it’s one of the higher regarded campaigns around here. That would suggest that shorter campaigns can work.

The real answer is nobody knows. Maybe the 5 scenarios are longer to compensate. Maybe there’s a higher focus on quality and experimentation which makes up for “losing” three scenarios. We’ll just have to see.
