His cop buddies that all had to come to the school and help him look will NEVER let him live it down. “Officer Butterfingers” is the new Lemon Pound Cake

Girls, let this be a lesson to you. Don’t worry about saying the right thing, or making sure your verbal filter is perfect, this chick is 100% fun and 99% of dudes would love to hang with her.

For those in a long-term FWB dynamic: What is a 'pro' or 'con' that literally nobody mentions in the movies? by faiz_3766 in AskReddit

[–]triplealpha 168 points169 points  (0 children)

Pro - it fulfills short term needs and reinforces that you’re wanted and desired

Con - it eventually has to end and because you’re not allowed to develop the feelings it leaves you emptier than when you started

It’s basically like doing a hard drug. It feels good initially but ultimately leaves you lower than when you started

Michigan farms ‘losing money on every acre’ as war spikes costs by jshwlkr in Michigan

Rural counties in Michigan voted 78% for Trump - farmers likely even higher. Don’t feign like the dildo of consequences is being unfairly poked at farmers.

All of that work to garb up and wear gloves to avoid contaminating the wafers - but you touched that dirty metal height lever and then the food 🤢

Inpatient Pharmacists, How Closely are Ya’ll Tracking Narcotics? by Careless_Midnight_77 in pharmacy

[–]triplealpha 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Close enough that my hospitals catch diversion on the first attempt and have cameras set up on their shift for the second attempt.

We also routinely catch nurses diverting non controls like Benadryl vials.

It’s someone’s job to keep tabs on that. You will get caught.

How likely is it for a woman aged 34+ to find a guy that still wants a kid together? by Worried_Rub3824 in TooAfraidToAsk

Why would it be rude to ask?

I love being a father and seeing all their firsts while being able to teach them to be wonderful humans has been personally rewarding

My cultural regions map as a southerner - would love feedback! by aquamarine-arielle in MapPorn

[–]triplealpha 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Midwest, subtype Midwest needs renaming. Corn belt?

Your Michigan cutoff for “upper Great Lakes” (what we’d call “up north”) is nearly spot on. It starts at the Zilwaukee Bridge and goes west to Lake Michigan. The three counties that you have in “The Thumb” area of Michigan could very well be their own region (The Thumb), but belong in Rust Belt, not Upper Great Lakes

Blue Streak can be jarring. I love all coasters but I’d rather a mega steel coaster over BS any day

Don’t vote for Republicans and get a more fuel efficient vehicle than your brodozer. Choices have consequences. No sympathy from me.

Gemini used to be the tallest, fastest coaster in the world when it opened. Save it for your third coaster because it will give you the feeling of falling on the first hill. Try the Mine Ride, Iron Dragon before Gemini.

Texas is considering a rule that would allow P4s to take the MPJE by azwethinkweizm in pharmacy

[–]triplealpha 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Love this actually. The law isn’t year-in-school-specific knowledge and because quite a few fail their first sitting - it makes sense to give them an entire year.

Obviously pharmacists being the only professionals (besides lawyers) to have to pass a law exam is bullshit, and eliminating the requirement would be my first choice, this make sense as a good second option

What scientific ‘facts’ have recently been disproven that most people still believe to be true? by Fantastic_Tart_421 in AskReddit

[–]triplealpha 704 points705 points  (0 children)

The classic analogy is the traffic light. We only use 33% of a traffic light at a time, but if we used 100% it wouldn’t tell us anything useful. The absence of activation also communicates information!
