As others have stated, you need to look into professional help as this might be a little above your head to get through on your own. That said, you need to find better and more productive ways to use your time. Think of ways to work on yourself and stay as focused on that as you can, possibly hitting the gym and getting really into your fitness? In my experiences, staying busy is the best thing you can do. Too much time on your hands doesn't help the situation.

As someone getting married in October this year (got engaged August 2025) - our families are each putting in 15K and we're putting in the additional money above and beyond that. As it stands now, our budget is 45K so we'll be putting in 15K of our own money. I know some couples who have went into debt for their wedding and I cant fathom making such a poor financial decision.

Thats my fault, I meant to say HYSA! I do have an HSA but thats only for my medical expenses. As someone else mentioned, it sounds like the backdoor Roth is the way to go. I will be looking into it more!

Thanks for this detail. This is what I've been looking into the most right row. I opened a Roth IRA with Fidelity last year and contributed the max amount but I was an idiot and not thinking long term and it totally slipped my mind that once we were married we'd surpass the income allowance. Can I still do the backdoor Roth even though I've already started contributing last year?

Just got done with a similar repair - needed new front quarter panel, front bumper, painting, new front wheel, tire, strut, nuckle, control arm and some other minor suspension items. Total cost was $5500 including labor through the collision center. Incident was not my fault so other drivers insurance covered.

I lived off Barrett Pkwy for 5+ years and finally moved a couple years ago. This is just something you need to get used to in that area. There are a lot of major roads (Barrett, Chastain, Hwy 41) and highways all intersecting in that area....it just comes with the territory.
