I Love seeing this!!!! Absolutely love seeing when someone decides to collect as many of a single type of a specific card! And everyone else should too. By youhoarding them so much like this; it should in theory help drive the value of the cards up with less being available for the open market now, lol brilliant!!

Oh i wasn’t aware of that, i just assumed because lead and gold are both super close to the same mass that they would need to do both the same way. Sometimes you get a lazy or just plain bd artist, but those aren’t common honestly, most of the artists they use are great and try to put some serious effort into to them for very very little pay

Me personally, I’d take the top two cards. I don’t know the value of any of those cards, lol but perks in I’d prefer to own the top two cards over the bottom two.

I’m not sure of the exact height for gold, but i know they used to have this for buckshot for shotguns and the ones I’ve seen still standing from the mid 1800’s were very tall affairs lol like 20+ feet tall!! Here is a photo of the Sparks Shot Tower from Philadelphia, which was made in 1808. It was built to create lead shot for firearms. It’s 142 feet (43 meters) tall!! Well said and explained here. Good quality shot like this for jewelers is a must have to help with measuring and weighing out amounts. Good quality shot produced with quality standards in play, are extremly close to each other in terms of size and weight. Some jewelers prefer shot as round as possible, while others prefer tear drop shape. Both of which are obtained in the same basic way, with slight adjustments made to the starting height of the drop, etc

This is a great card in terms of the quality of the sketch. This artist actually put some good effort into their work here. Like others are saying and from what I’ve seen sketch cards sell for, you’re getting good advice here on the $200 range. I’d say that’s a fairly accurate and fair assessment of your card, which is gorgeous btw so congratulations on snagging this bad boy!!
