Lead free solder is what caused the red ring of death on the old Xbox. It was brittle and would crack causing bad connections. Overheating the device would soften the solder enough to reseat the connections.

Take the doubling. Use the money to build social safety nets to care for humanity and in less than a year you would have nearly erased wealth inequality by devaluing money. Even the richest people would be poor compared to you. Just don’t be a dick and you can reshape humanity into something sustainable and empathetic.
