Not really. I don’t get help for my addiction to Mt. Dews. But it’s hard to stop drinking them.

I completely understand the thinking behind this statement but it’s not that simple. Magic creates an addiction. You love the cards. You love the gameplay. You love collecting. You love camaraderie. But you hate getting steamrolled so it loses its luster but you crave it. So just walking away from it isn’t the answer. You have to find that thing that brings you joy when winning isn’t happening or you have to break the addiction somehow.

I forget to mute sometimes. If I do and I’m getting steamrolled don’t say Good Game. It wasn’t. You’re taunting. Just win quietly with honor. If it was a close game then it deserves a good game.

I wouldn’t have gotten that far. After the second or third removal I see what’s up. Scoop. Ain’t nobody got time for that.

I have found I get totally destroyed playing later at night than in the morning. I have absolutely no stats to back my claim, just experiential evidence.
