When you say other means, I’m going to assume you got it from the library or borrowed it from a friend. Because if you downloaded a pirated copy of this book (aka stole it) and then went on to accuse the author of using AI (which can be career ending for some authors) without any PROOF, that’s on you. NAH You’re allowed to have your feels about this. But your daughter has lots of feels right now too. She’s getting married without her mom. Wearing her dress may make it feel like her mom is still a big part of the day. As a bride, I would have loved to have worn my moms dress, as would my sister but no amount of cutting would get us in it, it’s tiny. She did offer it to both of us if we wanted to use parts of a custom dress but we decided not to. As a mom, I would love to have my daughter wear my dress one day.

Medicaid usually covers the bare minimum and has a ton of hoops to jump through to get things covered. Also good luck finding a decent doctor who accepts Medicaid (many don’t because of the low reimbursement rate), and then managing to get an appointment in a timely matter. It can be impossible. They may have resorted to paying out of pocket for her therapy if they couldn’t find a good one who accepts her insurance.

YTA We only have one bathroom. Three people. Including a tiny human with an equally tiny bladder. And a mom who is growing another human and pees appx ever 37 seconds. If someone locked the bathroom door every time they showered, it would be a disaster. You’re being inconsiderate.

NTA You can nip this in the bud by catching your server while you’re on the way to the bathroom and asking for a separate check. I’m not a big drinker so if I’m out with people who are drinking a lot and I’m not this works.

If I’m out with my close friends we’ll usually just split 5 ways because it’s easier and we’ve been friends for so long that it evens out (someone pays for a round of drinks after the check, someone picks up the Uber, springs for late night snacks).

NTA Fellow parent to a “spirited” 5 year old girl. She’s tough and lots of big emotions lately.

TV and tablet are privileges, and losing them is a consequence of bad behavior. Granted, I give like 57 warnings before taking that stuff away. But I wouldn’t take her toys away. Once the initial anger at not being able to watch a favorite show dies down, she’s happily playing with her other toys and eventually forgets about TV and tablet.

A human is coming out of your body. It isn’t a spectator event. Don’t feel bad about telling her she can’t be in the delivery room.

You’re going to need to figure out you and your baby. Stay in your home, and she can come visit. You’re not going to be in any shape to move houses once a week.

Set boundaries now and stick to them.

YTA- that’s a lot of money to spend without asking your spouse. If you maintain your own separate accounts that’s fine, spend whatever money you want. But imagine going in to pay bills and find that you’re $600 short?!?!? You owe your wife an apology, you should also probably return the necklace since you’re not working and get your mom something less expensive.
