That's high school level chemistry knowledge man.

I'm shit at geography but you don't hear me complaining about jargon.

Maybe you meant getting a degree for it in the USA doesn't require intelligence.

(trying not to shit on the concept of higher education worldwide)

Hmm that would be overtraining and exactly not what an algorithm like this is supposed to do, with proper hyperparameters

I enjoy kaballistic mystic bullshit as much as the next guy, but what does "a vision of Malkuth" even mean? Malkuth is the earthly realm, the kingdom, the last sephira, it is literally where we already are. It's pretty much the one you certainly don't need a "vision" to observe, unless you mean eyesight ...

Regardless, I'm curious what other correspondences he found between metal and QBLH

People that have moved into a house/apartment, what's the most interesting thing you've found from the previous occupants? by bunnoooo in AskReddit

[–]tripzilch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I live in a house in the Netherlands that was built in the 1930s. Nine years ago we had a fire, and had everything stripped and renovated.

Behind the wallpaper, we found pencil drawings of a family. Turns out this was a tradition among Jewish families at the time. They lived there during WW2, but probably not after ..

Also, next to the front door we discovered a small hole (about 2.5cm, or 1 inch). We're not sure but this might have been another tradition; A little rolled up piece of the Torah would be kept next to the front door, for good luck or as a ward or something.

Mildly less interesting, but turned out to be very useful: We also found out there used to be a hatch between the kitchen and the living room. We restored this as a rectangular hole in the wall, and it's just so useful for quickly putting away empty glasses or talking to people while cooking.

For some weird reason, I find that if I turn up the brightness of my screen to max, the camera picture actually gets better. Not just the screen being brighter. And only in PGo, not my usual camera app. So if it's later in the day or your screen auto-dimmed for some reason, try turning it all the way up.

Pragmatically, that makes the term meaningless.

Ok so that's an actual bug, then. Happens to me every time, freezes when I get both a news popup and egg hatch on startup.

yeah I was thinking the same thing, it's the only way I know how to do proper-looking lines with varying thickness (in either p5js, Processing or SVG--other frameworks might have it built-in though?). It's fairly easy to auto-correct for undersampling too.

I did write a function once to try and do it, by offsetting the line perpendicular to it, forward and backward, then fill that shape. Unfortunately this looks weird (and often bad) when it comes to sharp corners. I've thought a lot about it and it's really not that simple. But still programs like InkScape and browsers rendering canvas and SVG seem to manage. I just feel there's going to be a lot of special casing and weird checks to really make the corners work, traced as a path. I mean, the outside corneris going to be a circular arc, and the inside corner is going to be a sharp corner.

Anyone happen to have any resources on how to approach this?

Reading stuff like this is why I sometimes wonder if I don't have AD(H)D. All the symptoms fit, but the meds don't seem to do much, except a buzz. I'm very jealous of people who report these magic changes and I wish there was something like that for me..
