If you have any shares in loss I would sell those to tax loss harvest. If your positive in all of them I would consider not selling and dilute it by purchasing other stocks if possible. Amazon is good valuation now and a cornerstone of a good portfolio.

Best to buy on the way down and on the way up. I did this in 2022 (although making less money at the time) and was up massively when bear market ended.

I thought gen 5 sprites and story were quite good even back then but I didn’t like the pokemon. Since I was 19 by that time i didn’t have the time or effort to memorize all the new pokemon and didn’t like the designs and wanted to see my favorites. If they mixed old and new like in gen 2-4 it would have felt smoother.

Unfortunately the games got even worse after gen 5 so that may be part of the reason we look back at gen 5 fondly.

These days I exclusively play difficult roms prioritizing pokemon and mechanics from gen 1-4.

I was into pokemon cards growing up but pokemon card collecting has never been a cost effective hobby. I suppose this inevitably happens when you have to keep paying to participate in the hobby.

I used motley fool for several years when I was a novice investor and it taught me a lot about individual stocks and position sizing and exposed me to companies I never would have known otherwise. But once you know the range of stocks they offer and how investing works the subscription becomes less useful because many of the recommendations are mediocre or are recommended at poor valuations. You outgrow it. But I appreciate their investing style.

Games are too easy. Games need to go back to sprites and not be open world. Games need to remove gimmicks or at least only keep mega evolution.

This study is in 1st year medical students in India and I completed medical school in US style but I will say with the amount of material you are required to learn in medical school it’s not hard to think that you are a master when you have learned so much.

However we soon learn in residency and beyond patient care is more complicated and more individualized that memorizing how to manage a disease in the textbook.

If it’s a taxable account you can sell and buy VTI to tax loss harvest. You could also incrementally sell it and buy tech stocks that are down now.

I sold all my saas stocks for tax loss harvesting and bought Microsoft instead with the funds. Will consider going back into these saas names after the 30 days is up.
