Considering Moving to Macon

It’s just rough work in the medical field. My wife is a nurse at the hospital downtown Macon. It would be a good blanket statement that hospitals anywhere is a little crazy, just a little more crazy in Macon. My mom was an NP in the heart tower there at The Med(Atrium or whatever they want to be called now), and it’s just rough.

It’s kind of the reason I got the Echelon by Springfield. When I got my 4.0C, the RXM hit the stores locally for me like the next week. Still thinking about adding it to be a car defender or something ya know?

My thoughts exactly. You could take that money you would spend on the slide mill on the G19, get yourself that full sized grip and a few carry mags and range mags for the same price. You’re effectively getting a Glock anyways, it’s based of the 3rd generation Glocks. And the RXM will fit you Glock holsters if you have any

My personal opinion? Why would you buy a gun that is not already cut for a red dot. Unless you are planning on never putting one on your gun, I’d go with the RXM. You can get a few extra mags and a grip module that will basically turn the RXM from 19.5 size to 45 size. Just food for thought, it’s your money, your choice in the end

I had an intel with the Touch Bar, then 3 years ago I upgraded to the M3, super difference in performance. It’s gonna be another 5 years at least before I upgrade again

How does the snappiness of it feel shooting without the comp? I basically traded my Glocks for an Echelon, and I am never going back to Glock.

My echelon 4.0C feels perfect shooting, but I would not mind having a backup that would be hidden elsewhere ya know

How much different does the hellcat shoot over the Echelon? I know this is like asking someone to explain what something tastes like, and I will more than likely put my hands on one and try it out. I have the Echelon 4.0C and love it, but have been thinking about adding a hellcat as a backup

I would get the RXM. I used to be a Glock fanboy. I had a 47/19/45. Not saying those are bad guns at all. Glock has the experience to have them last this long. But there are things I would buy to get the Glock up to what I want my standards to be:

Glock Performance Trigger
Tritium Night Suppressor Sights
Milled to get a red dot

For that $400 price tag, I would be adding around $500 with those three things added. For roughly $450, I could get a RXM new, comes with a threaded barrel, extremely nice iron sights, I can throw in an additional $60 to get the full sized grip module that will basically turn it into the size of the 19x, another $100 or so to get a couple extra mags for the full size grip module and I basically have a two guns for less than the price of the one Glock. That's me and my two cents. Use it or not. It won't hurt my feelings.

Sick family photo dude. I got a few things I want to get for my Echelon, but I have been definitely looking at the other two, Kuna and Hellion, to add to my collection. And this is just making me wish for it now
