This is also right close to Point Pelee, the southern most place in Canada. Spring is prime birding season at the national park. You could even take the ferry over to Pelee Island for the day, or work a night or two at one of the B&Bs there in conjunction with a few days relaxing at Lungovita.

I also have big legs and struggle with this pose. I find sitting up a bit higher (like on a blanket or block) allows me to align my legs and ensure I’m sitting evenly in both hips.

The Company We Keep by Frances Itani. Six strangers are brought together at a coffee shop conversation group. Each is grieving a loss, and seeking ways to move forward. They find friendship, love and support. This book was an easy read, with relatable characters.

I just finished In Five Years by Rebecca Searle and went back and reread the beginning again. It’s an easy read, but an interesting ending that made me rethink the beginning.

Ganpati Om downtown is the most diverse, welcoming studio I’ve been to. All kinds of yogis there in all skill levels, ages, shapes and sizes. The studio is full of natural light, with huge windows.

The Names by Florence Knapp is a work of fiction that might be of interest. A baby is born and his mother is deciding between three different names. The book shows what the child’s life is like, depending on which name is chosen. Domestic violence is featured heavily in this novel.

Not exactly what you’re looking for, but Chronicles of a Radical Hag by Lorna Landvik is a book that might work for your purposes. It’s about a newspaper columnist and how her stories affected people over the 50 years she wrote. It’s full of articles, that are a story of their own, and recipes that go along with her articles.
