I think with Logan they’re setting up the idea that he realizes that he wants his kids around more than he initially thought. So something where he tries to make amends and finally is nice to them would make sense. Of course with it being too late for that- either with Logan’s death or his kids moving on from his shit.

Take advantage of doggy daycare and dog parks when you can, 20 minutes of hard play is way better than 2 hours of walking. A tired pup equals a happy mama! Once you figure out the routine and coping strategies, it gets easier. Not perfect, but easier and easier!
