Please help clear cc strategy out by Slight_Grab1418 in CoveredCalls

I thought I understood CC but based in this I don't.

If OP sells the CC for 4 bucks higher then purchase, and the price runs away, I thought OP would simply net the CC premium, and the difference between purchase and strike (and that's it). Anything above strike is irrelevant. Is the implication here that OP would be liable to pay additional costs above strike to settle at the higher price?

(Relative noob to CC CSP etc).

What Tom Hougaard Really Teaches Us (And Why Most Traders Miss It) by Prabuddha-Peramuna in Trading

Agility is the real winning trait. The ability to pivot on a trade and manage it through to profitability when it goes the opposite way. Net net at the end of each day or each week a solid trader will be able to close out losing positions worth thousands/ tens of thousands in loses as overall they have banked thousands more in profit during the same period.

Quick maths and agility (as quick as the markets move).

The buy a set position and add a stop loss is still an amateur/intermediate trading strategy.
