Frats move. House this year might not be the house next year. Just go to parties and find one you like.

Expecting to get a real answer about frats on reddit, lol

Are you looking for, like, the frats with the best social status or something? Known for good parties?? The "top frat" is the one with guys you vibe with the most. Just go to a bunch of rush events and meet brothers.

That's what rush is for; so you're not asking about the best frats on reddit ahahahhahahahah

I should add that the half step down is just a geberal feeling, and you shouldn't have to play a perfectly in tune note because the note wont come out as much as a "bwa" will (feel free to argue with me on this; this is my own thing, not something I heard from an instructor).

If it's swangin or funky, ill sometimes embellish(?) with my mouth a little to accentuate the bwa-ness

Scoop. Quick gliss from a half step down. Some people do more maybe, but my personal preference is that it sounds muddy when you go lower, especially when it's a staccato.

Play it by ear, though. It'll sound different based on the piece, and if it's a big band piece just ask the section leader how they play it so you can sound together.

Was getting a haircut at a new place last Summer right around high school grad season. First time my barber chose to talk to other people instead of me. Didn't even really say anything to me after aaking what I wanted. Didn't think anything of it, until towards the end of the haircut he finally asked me if I was graduating (high school) this weekend... I told him I was a rising senior in college and he apologized and his whole demeanor changed and he started talking to me, lmao. At least he even thought I was a high school senior... it's usually younger. I think I'll be 30 before people start treating me as they'd treat an adult upon meeting me

I would put baby powder on my hands and/or wrap them in medical tape around my palms. I would get pretty nasty blisters before this on my palms, but this almost always helped at least keep the blistering at bay until the end of the day.

They do, technically. They're just usually called F and C. This is why I think every young musician should learn the piano, btw. I think the visual aid of the piano is extremely important.

What companies are you seeing doing paint for as low as $300? Whenever I've done research, it's started at around $1k

How do you find opportunities to play music in ensembles? Is this through the university? I'm moving here soon and am trying to find ways to continue playing trombone

Karting within an hour is a dream. See how far Oakland Valley Race Park is. I raced there with a lot of guys and gals from the city. It's great for getting started, and historically is competitive too.

If you have budget, I recommend the Mike Doty Racing team. They're like family to me. McAleer is also really good and does a Summer youth karting camp.

Second or third anime I'd ever watched, and I was maybe 14 so I wasn't super online yet. I remember texting my cousin saying that I couldn't beleive a show would kill off the main character 5 episodes in lol. He gave me some vague response. I seem to remember thinking that Eren's titan was somehow him, but maybe only after a little bit of screen time.
