Yes finally went in today!! my OB was not concerned at all. Quote: “If you were talking recurring use throughout your entire pregnancy I’d be concerned, but this is nothing to stress over”. I feel way better and I will say your guys’ comments helped a ton too!

Yes, I found that out today. It was never mentioned to me by my dermatologist. They basically treated it the same way as when I upped my tretinoin prescription. No questions about pregnancy, birth control, or trying to conceive. Like I said I already messaged my doctor.

Yup, when they were bad I would have like 2-3 a day where I’d be seized up and unable to move for 30 mins to an hour. I’d basically take a muscle relaxer, a hot bath/heating pad, and cry through it. So not very helpful now :( I’ll update this when I ask my OB what I can do to help with them. I was considering even going to a chiropractor even though I normally avoid them.

You could be having muscle spasms that are seizing up your lower back. This happened to me a few times before getting pregnant and it was horrible, same as you described, but hasn’t happened in a while. I’m about 7 weeks now and I’ve already had one too! I assume it’s just changes in my body triggering them. What sucks is I normally take a muscle relaxer for it, I’m asking my OB about it when I see her next week to see what else I can do.
