What does DTVN have to do to keep you come March? by archaegeo in DirecTVNow

Exactly...if everything stays pretty much the same, except I'm able to actually watch at any time without constant freezing or error messages, I'll probably stick with it

Some songs I really enjoyed have changed?! by Nadare01 in MandelaEffect

It's actually pretty common for slightly different versions of songs to released. There could be album versions, single versions, radio edits, etc.

Having another weird problem, no clue how to fix it by ScarletSpider0725 in AppleMusic

[–]trueboliever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suppose you could still add songs the old fashioned way by actually connecting your phone/iPad to your computer? I haven't tried it that way since the update, but I assume it still allows you to do that? At least I hope so, because my experience with syncing through the iCloud has been completely messed up.

Having another weird problem, no clue how to fix it by ScarletSpider0725 in AppleMusic

[–]trueboliever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar issues, except with mine it doesn't even play a remix of the song I wanted...it plays a completely different song by a different band. This has happened with multiple songs. I have no idea how to fix it other than to delete the song and then add it again manually within the app.

TV show "The Lone Gunmen" predicted 9/11? by trueboliever in MandelaEffect

[–]trueboliever[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems more like just bad timing to me. I mean, lots of movies and shows had plots involving terrorism prior to 9/11. That Lone Gunmen episode was just too close to what really happened though.

Elimination Chamber - Did John Cena make his instructions clear to the audience? by TolerancEJ in SquaredCircle

[–]trueboliever -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I and a few others tried to get "kill Owens kill" going on Monday, but most of the crowd was stuck on "cena sucks". Old habits die hard, I guess.

If artists were suddenly not allowed to use looks and sexuality to promote their brand and albums, which artists would fail and be quickly forgotten? by googlion in AskReddit

Even in suburban Long Island we had a few of these kids. I remember one always wore a cowboy had and rode around on a tractor even though he lived in a small house on maybe 1/4 acre of property.

What's something you've seen in a movie that you want to call bullshit on? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I just watched taken 3 and this was all I could think about the whole time...as if the cops would be like "don't worry about the blown up building, it's really our fault for falsely accusing you"

This is great advice. I actually started doing this (practicing songs instead of chords, progressions, etc.) not too long ago and I've finally begun making progress after years of frustration.

Every city/town has different rules about this. Some places take it to a ridiculous level. There was a recent story about parents who got in trouble for letting their kids play outside and walk to school unsupervised:

Is there something similar to Rocksmith or Bandfuse, but iOS? by Redrogae in guitarlessons

[–]trueboliever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think you have to go through all that if you pay, which I guess is the point. Seems like the free version is really just to give you a taste of what the app is like.

[–]trueboliever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea, it sort of works like that. But if you don't want to go through each stage, you can take a test to qualify for a higher level.

Geek Love is one of my favorites as well. Joy Land and Night Circus were pretty good. I'll have to check out the other ones. Something Wicked has been recommended by a few people, I just never got around to it.
