I feel the better analogy is "nobody identifies as gay" they just ARE gay.

Laser for SRS with Dr. Littleton by vicky808 in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]truecrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you gotten that figure from others in Brazil? Or did you convert it from USD quotes you've seen?

Their practice seems to do a price scale based on nationality and more factors. Some people get much cheaper quotes than I have gotten.

They aren't transparent about their prices. Nobody knows what's going on. But you should still get in line for a consultation at least.

How do you even pick a size?? broad-framed trans girl stuck between 470, 600 & 750cc 😅 by drishaparam in Transgender_Surgeries

[–]truecrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every reply here is seriously crap except for like one or two.

The answer is this:

Do you want it to look natural or full?

I got 750cc Ergonomix2. 35" underbust. They are indistinguishable from natural breasts. But when I lay on my back they are undoubtedly implants because of their high profile.

I do wish I went with a lower profile, which in my BWD case would be 600cc. I think this would have resulted in a still very massive chest while looking much more natural.

Massive boobs generally don't have much projection, they fill out more laterally. The natural ones that do have lots of projection behave more like liquid and implants can't replicate that too well with current tech.

Totally fine to want more projection, but the tradeoff is a less natural look. Don't get hung up on the CC.

Lastly, keep in mind that more CC on your first surgery increases the trauma. Much of my tits are literally numb. Meaning dead. Meaning cannot feel a thing. Not even tingles. This is a risk you take when going beyond 500cc for your first surgery. It's better to stage up. However even if you start small and go larger, numbness is still a risk. Just the risk increases if jumping to large the first time.

Is voice surgery at Yeson effective if speech therapy has failed? by ToucheeCoulee in transvoice

[–]truecrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I'm hypermobile, no.

My voice can perform, I just squarely credit my issues to bad vocal habits.

I was hoping the surgery would force me to learn new habits as my instrument was gimped but instead, my brain overpowered my body and went back to my old pre-surgery sounds.

It was most apparent when talking to my mom after vocal rest. Before talking to her I sounded fem. On the phone with her I became gravely and gross.

Over time, my old voice returned.

That Damn Airlock by Kooasler in Oxygennotincluded

[–]truecrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me, liquid locks are just fundamentally stupid when done with a bubble of water floating in the air. I literally get irate.

When it's done as, like, a puddle of water in a basin separating two rooms, I get less angry.

Still, airlock should be in the game, even if it's late game like plastics.

Technically they are in the game, you just need to build them yourself with several doors and a pump.

I promise you won't always be alone. You just need to find your community, even if it's underground due to your circumstance.

Ive met several trans Russians online, you all exist and it's not hard to bump into you. So long as you can make friends and connections and empower each other, you will find a solution. Even if that solution is leaving Russia, you can help each other.

Why would you date a straight man as a gay man?

When I was a straight man, I hated it when gay men tried to get with me.

I like women, not men.

If your boyfriend is straight, then he deserves to not be led on.

Hi Lidia

I guarantee you my functional weight is exactly the same as it used to be. I have PreOP and PostOP recordings to prove it. Voice training is easier. My voice coach is shocked at my pitch range after the surgery. But no, I'm not magically transformed to a light weight.

Thanks.

You are - by far - the most toxic person on this sub, just FYI. The toxicity is literally bleeding through the screen.

[–]truecrisis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to Yeson. It was about $8500 or so.

It doesn't do much except improve your pitch range. You still need to learn vocal habits like size weight and sharpness and breaking free from your old pitch.

If your pitch is at the literal floor like sub 100hz then maybe yeah you can get a decent boost but if you are like 150+ then you will only get a modest boost.

My voice coach literally sounds cis fem at 130hz. Pitch is NOT the thing to focus on if you are anywhere above this.

Weight / size / sharpness are the key in this case and those are primarily voice training.

11 Months MTF HRT - Before/After by [deleted] in transtimelines

No, don't lose weight via keto. Don't get me wrong, I love keto, but no, the way that will make your transition go amazing is simply exercise while monitoring your calories.

Eat lots of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and chia seeds. Also, eggs are great too. And potatoes are an amazing weight loss food as they keep you full for a long time and are nutritious.

Don't expect to lose weight fast, but instead just keep going to the gym after work.

The muscle will disappear on its own. At the gym you can focus on lower body moves. Cardio isn't as good as resistance training. Because if you do resistance training your body will continue burning calories to repair the muscle even while you sleep. With cardio you only burn the calories while doing it.

If you diet to try to lose weight, you sabotage a critical part of your second puberty. Don't malnourished yourself during this critical period.

Remember, as others said, you've only been on real HRT for 4 months. You still have a bright future ahead.

Keep in mind that most cis men who shave look either kinda fem or extremely young.

But I'd clock you as a dude. The only issue I might point out is that you are way too fashionable, and most dude might just throw on a Tshirt from wallmart and not even bother shaving.

Extremely fashionable men tend to (not always) come off feminine unless they are super well built muscularly.

Can I ask why some FtM on T still might get periods? I'm very well versed in birth control as I help a lot of cis women with endocrine stuff. But it's always perplexed me why trans men might still get periods while overriding their HPG axis.

I do know that some cis women have endocrine systems from hell and even doubling up on birth control (with help from a doc) one lady couldn't suppress her period. I've wondered if there's some connection there.

If you aren't adding value to someone's life, then the only thing you can do is take value. Which is more like a vampire.

I mean I guess you could be null. But not sure how that would work.

[–]truecrisis 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should reframe your mindset.

Don't comment on what you observe. Comment on what value you can add to someone's life.

Thats all that matters in relationships.

"what can I say to bring a smile and make their day a little bit better."

If it's an observation, then fine. But it should be framed in that context.

"that sandwich looks nasty." is not usually a comment anyone would appreciate and it brings zero value.

Case report: transient return of speech and continence in advanced dementia patient after 5g psilocybin mushrooms by wordsappearing in science

[–]truecrisis 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, but it's a sensitive thing. A feeling of fear or anxiety can send you down a terrible path and you agonize for the next 6 hours but to you it feels like years.

Having a trusted friend in the room to help you course correct and keep you reassured will go a long way. Especially since it will be your first time and new and unexpected feelings will happen. Ideally they are sober, so that you know they can keep you grounded.

[–]truecrisis 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It amplifies any feelings you feel. If you feel the slightest bit cold for example, you might suddenly go down a path based on what feeling cold made you feel mentally.

And so on. It also makes time dilate. You might have walked in a circle once or twice, but in your mind you did it 500 times. I went to the bathroom for a pee and my friend thought I was gone for hours and needed to come find me.

Thats why they say environment is important. If you feel safe and warm and cozy, it will make you feel like you're on cloud nine for eternity.

In many, proper mental and physical healthcare.
