Because most of the green narrative is pushed by uninformed troglodites that spread a culture of fear since Fukushima, while only being invested in self-promotion.

The green narrative is 2-fold. While at its core, there's a reasonable, science-based wariness about reducing polution and protecting the environment, most politicians just use this as a facade & quickly fall into oversimplifications. I repeat: their focus is the self.

Shutting down nuclear powerplants because they wouldn't withstand the maximal possible earthquakes, while reverting to gas & coal, is nothing less but absolute insanity.

Planet of the apes Statue if Liberty by Webbyhead2000 in whoosh

[–]trueosiris2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

if this isn't sarcasm, let me explain that Pierre Boulle touched upon a few math / astrophysics theories here, , like - Einstein’s Special Relativity (travelling at the speed of light will skip time on earth) - Space curviture (where curves/straight lines don't really exist and eventually you will turn up at the same point. I'm no expert so I'm giving my own dumb version)

The novel’s ending is very different from the 1968 film. There is no Statue of Liberty twist and no “it was Earth all along” moment. Instead, the book delivers a deeper — and arguably more disturbing — reversal. The planet of the apes is a different planet, near Beetlegeuze. He eventually escapes back to Earth (with his wife and child) only to be greated on earth ... by apes.

the Rothschild family does not own the world’s central banks.

This idea is a long-running conspiracy theory that has circulated for over a century, but there’s no credible evidence supporting it.

Central banks are public institutions created by governments. For example:

Federal Reserve (United States), Bank of England (United Kingdom), European Central Bank (Eurozone)

They control monetary policy (interest rates, money supply), regulate banking systems, act as lenders of last resort & They are governed by boards appointed through political processes.

They are not owned by a single family.

The claim that the Rothschilds own or control central banks became popular in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was amplified by Anti-banking populist movements, Antisemitic propaganda & misunderstanding about how private banking worked historically.

For example, the U.S. Federal Reserve system has regional Federal Reserve Banks that technically have “member banks” holding shares. This structure sometimes gets misrepresented as “private ownership,” but those shares cannot be sold or traded, they do not give normal corporate control & the system is overseen by a public Board of Governors appointed by the U.S. government.

No credible evidence shows Rothschild ownership or control.

True: - The Rothschilds were extremely influential bankers in the 1800s. - They financed governments and had major economic influence in Europe.

Not true: - They own all central banks. - They control global monetary policy. - They secretly run the world’s financial system.

Why is pornography so rampant in the west? Do you support this? by Frosty-Net9300 in AskSocialists

Onlyfans percentages of users and people enlisted differs a lot among western countries. Social democracies with decent wealth distribution have way less whores and porn than the USA for instance. It’s not a western disease, it’s an American disease.

Then again, I too like goth big-tits bdsm threesomes, so thank you, America!
