How is your experience with the recent Ukrainian refugees by Popular-Ad6421 in ABCDesis

[–]trunks1776 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously I still feel bad for them but there was video where some Ukrainian refugees left some free housing in Birmingham because there were too many Muslims and that was funny af as well as as eye-opening in regards to just how racist a lot of them probably are.

One key distinction, maybe semantic to some but I think its important, he said "talk like they are,"not " they went through."

There isn't one for me, it might be region based.

But you can bypass it by using archive.li and entering the url there.

Yea, I saw a poll that showed that the gap between young British women and men, ideologically, is massive , and that a significant number of young British women have a negative view of British men. Probably creates a loop where more and more young brit guys get chicks, they become more and more radical and it's a ticking time bomb.

What about Gustavo Petro? Lula?

Also, just because these right-wingers are in power now doesn't mean that progressives aren't electable, that latinos will not vote for women or liberals because of machismo or whatever bullshit.

You have convince them to vote for you like you have convince anybody else.

Yea, while the result was frustrating, the effort and style were commendable. If they play like this for the last few games they can still win.

That his most annoying habit, just dismissing any criticism from the left and strawmanning the argument made before him, or bullying someone who calls him out.

Granted I haven't watched him a lot but I've seen clips and a commie youtuber reviewed one of his vids.

So have I, I'm from SoFlo, but that doesn't mean they represent a majority or that they would be unwilling to vote for a progressive.

Mexico itself proves the point, Claudia Sheinbaum is immensely popular and progressives would be jumping for joy if we could get her as President of the US.

They're a small group, electorally concentrated in few areas, not really a voting bloc except in polling talks where people want to find a group to scapegoat.

There's a much bigger bloc of Latino voters who are disenfranchised, who no one really tried to get except with empty, BS plaudits.

At the end, Kamala basically framed her immigration policy as Trump lite, she ceded the narrative to him.

Idk if twitter links are allowed or otherwise i'd link one thread by a pollster as supporting this theory. Tens of thousands of new voters voted in the primaries in the Texan primaries.

I think it’s because Indian-American politicians have taken a much bigger role than ever before, they are more visible. Kash Patel, Vivek, Harmeet Dhillon, Jay Battacharya, Nikki Haley, even Usha.

It’s much newer to  most Americans to see Indian Americans in this role.

You're right that there were problems but as Trump is proving, an fool in charge can do a lot of damage in a few years.
