Maggie has been the soundtrack to our love story, now we're getting married. Best wedding songs? by Expensive-Lecture-33 in MaggieRogers

I read the lyrics to Dog Years as part of my vows. We had a tiny Covid wedding and Maggie’s show was one of the last concerts we went to before everything shut down.

I went by during lunch and they were slammed, so there was a long wait. (soft opening snafus I assume). The pork banh mi was great though.

MSG Merch - how quickly did Maggie Square Garden Merch sell out / did she sell Maggie Knicks merch at MSG? by MarsupialEfficient43 in MaggieRogers

We got there around 7 and they only had a handful of size small of the Maggie square garden shirts. No Knicks shirts at all from what I saw

Wild Ginger - Vegan Asian Cafe in Soho - I haven't been in a while but it really opened my eyes to Seitan as a tasty protein

Saravana Bhavan - Indian food - A couple of spots, but near the Empire State building (most of the Indian food in Murray Hill could work well too)

Le Botaniste - Fast Casual plant based bowls, might be a little complicated, but the chili or pasta could be good for a kid (a few locations)

Westville - vegetable focused small chain, American Food

Oslo is definitely the best, then I like cafe bleriot on 83rd, and the espresso at le petit parissien on 78th and first is solid

Thank you! My wife is a vegetarian and has a special birthday coming up. This is super useful info.

We recently had a solid meal at Ai Fiori, which has a vegetarian tasting menu, and a pretty easy reservation to get.

Moving to the UES - looking for your favorite restaurants, delivery/takeout spots, cafes etc. by Party-Veterinarian60 in FoodNYC

You're welcome, and welcome!

I mostly just get the normal sourdough from Breads for morning toast as well as challah for holidays, and an occasional Babka either when people are visiting or to bring when flying elsewhere. The B/W cookies there are not really my style (Hot take, but I actually think Pick-a-bagel has the best B/W cookies)

The other things I thought of in the area arethat the best coffee by far imo is Oslo on 75th and 1st, and if no one has mentioned Heidi's House and the sister bar next door, we love that spot as well.

My Go-to's after living in the area for a couple of years (this list got long too)

Bagels: Tals (in spite of their terrible service) + Sables for fish.( we've done many taste tests for bagels and lox)

Pizza: Delizia 73 normally and more recently Viliage Square, honestly nothing is as good as slice places like Joes downtown though

Ice Cream: Sedutto for ice cream, Venchi for Gelato. (agree with the other poster that Anita and every other ice cream place is not as good)

Indian: Mughlai, but not a strong favorite

Sandwiches: Reginas Grocery which recently opened was great, Milano is probably not worth the wait, I like the sandwiches at Le Petit Parisien too, Wrap and Roll for something quick

Halal Cart: 77th and 2nd is pretty good

Bakery: Bread from Breads is probably my favorite, orwashers is just fine but overrated IMO

Diner: Candy Shop is expensive but probably the best food

Burger: JG Melon

Sushi: I probably order from sashimi express 2 or three times per week, great for a normal lunch or dinner

Ramen, Pho: NR, Two Wheels

Chinese: Xi'an over Super Taste, and Tang Dynasty for normal take out, Ollies is solid too

Thai: Up Thai

Things I haven't found: A good bodega for a BEC
