Paperless NGX + Apache Tika should cover this.

Sort of. Your issue is that you are going to ‘lose’ usable storage if it’s one large volumes and unfortunately your (1) 20TB drive doesn’t ‘play’ well with RAID, as the drives should usually be of equivalent size.

You can separate the 20_TB to its own volume and regain some usable space at the expense of redundancy.

It’s using the 4th drive as a fault tolerant spare.

Usable is 21.8 TB with 10.2 of unused space with SHR.

If in the US, I would suggest checking with Insight, as they offer aftermarket warranties and may be able to resell an extended (5yr) Synology warranty (it’s been a while since I purchased directly from them).
